I am so grateful to everyone for all of their support during the last 5-6 months to get Settlers. Rd up and running 🥹
My stress levels during this time were put to the test and completely PEAKED over the last few weeks! I’ve shed tears in my Ute before walking into work, I’ve shed tears on my way home and even woken up during the night in tears! Happy, sad, exciting and stressful tears!
It’s been a whirlwind to say the least.
I’m not one to admit defeat easily, if I put my mind to something I will work my ass off to get it done.
Sure there are plenty of things I would’ve done differently, probably even dropped a different line to begin with to make things easier because linen…. Well say no more! She’s a B to work with and super expensive to make but absolutely beautiful to wear and it naturally pairs so well with other amazing kakahu and accessories.
I don’t think I’d ever be 100% satisfied with what comes out, there’s always the “oh these stickers are too big, that label isn’t straight, these bags just don’t work, more material needs added here and less there” the list goes on! But we can and will continue to strive for perfection with hopes to get Settlers. Rd to that point one day!
